If you frequently view a page on the internet, your computer stores that page in its cache. First, try holding down the CTL KEY (OPTION KEY on MAC) and choosing either the "REFRESH" or "RELOAD" button in the toolbar at the top of your browser window. If this does not work, you must then clear your cache and load the page again. To clear your browsers cache, please refer to the HELP selection in your browsers menu bar. Below are some of the common browsers and how to clear the cache.
Mozilla Firefox 2.0
From the browser, click on TOOLS and select OPTIONS. Click the ADVANCED icon and click the NETWORK tab. Click CLEAR NOW under the CACHE section. Click OK. Close out of the browser and reopen.
Internet Explorer 6.0
Click START than SETTINGS than CONTROL PANEL. Double-click INTERNET OPTIONS to open the Internet Properties. Click DELETE FILES. Click OK. Click OK again.
Internet Explorer 7.0
Right click on the Internet Explorer icon. Choose PROPERTIES. On the GENERAL tab, under BROWSING HISTORY click DELETE. A new delete window will open; under TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES choose DELETE FILES. |
